School Board Presentation & Video

On February 21, 2007 Teams 1523 & 179 discussed the FIRST program and displayed their 2006 robots to Palm Beach County's School Board. Our presentation lasted approx. 8-9 min. and was very positively received. Each board member was given a printed invitation to the FL Regional.
Tim A. represented MARS and provided an explanation of the FIRST Robotics Competition. 2 students from Children of the Swamp discussed their feelings about participating with Team 179. Dr. Benaim, our North County School Board Member (and father of 2 MARS 2007 student members) spoke after student team representatives and encouraged all of the Board to come to the UCF in March.
